About the FMGE Examination
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a screening test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for foreign medical graduates seeking to practice medicine in India. This examination tests essential medical knowledge across all major subjects.
The examination consists of 300 multiple-choice questions covering all 19 medical subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Surgery, and more. Success in this examination is mandatory for foreign medical graduates to practice medicine in India.
